Seems to me there's a problem with low amp output while driving, at least on mine. You're going down the highway with AC blasting (puffing? wheezing?) and the fridge is on 12V and your headlights are on, plus the rest of the misc. stuff we all have, and your alternator is trying to charge two batteries on top of all that. Maybe I have a problem with my charging system, but it seems like the batteries are never as charged as they ought to be. I thought a higher output alternator might help. IIRC there was a discussion a while back about taking out the stock AC and replacing with an electric AC powered by two alternators. Couldn't this high output alternator do the job of two stock ones? And so give us some real AC? |
