Jake pointed out that I could have shoved any Can postal code into the Canadian Tire website and seen the batteries. I was too sleepy to figure that out this morning, which makes pretty much everything I wrote about AGMs and stuff pretty suspect. Anyway, the photo of the 6V battery shows vents, so I think that makes it a flooded cell (vented) battery, and not an AGM. The 6-hour rating of 150 amp hours is under heavy golf cart use. In Malcolm's application, which requires fewer amps/hour than a golf cart does, this battery may rate at 200 or more amp/hours. But can't tell, pity Canadian Tire provided neither dimensions, weight, nor the Exide model number. My guess is that it is an Exide E3600, here's a forum thread on rv.net about them: http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/14647673/gotomsg/14648440.cfm -- Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Elliott 71 Type 2: the Wonderbus 84 Westfalia: Mellow Yellow ("The Electrical Banana") 74 Utility Trailer.
