Hi all.

I noticed in the pics (link below) that blue tape is wrapped on valve threads.

Is blue and yellow (teflon?) tape the same stuff?

And on a seperate note, is there any "safety" advantage to using pipe "dope" (grey stuff) on threads where fridge connects to LP supply?
