Hi Dennis.

I realized after posting, that in fact I could bypass the relay and hook element connections, using fridge switch, ( or as you suggest a SPDT switch) to the 12V supply.

I do have a second (aux) battery and should have mentioned that.

Given my nature to err on the side of caution, I thought I'd get in the habit of driving with fridge on 12V instead of LP.

To be clear, I posted this as a solution for those that may want to drive with fridge on 12V setting, have the older style fridge with relay on fridge itself, AND have an Aux battery.
