Thanks, Dennis.

I had the tank filled before our last, two week, camping trip. The tank only took 0.6 gallon. The leak smell persisted throughout the whole trip and continues even as I type this. Maybe once the tank is overfilled and the overfill valve is triggered, it never closed completely.

Or how about this scenario: fellow gets his tank properly filled to 80%, then spends two days at 105F+ temperatures -- might this also trigger a discharge? And now the thing isn't closing entirely.

Thanks for the advice on how hard a fellow might need to push in the reset button. I'll give her a try. Failing that, it's manual filler and bleeder city here I come.
