Yea... that is why i said 72+ :-) i have to cover my butt with you guys :-)

Anyway, how to remove engine in a few steps:

-Jack van on car ramp (rear) -Unplug battery -under the van, disconect heater box cable, fuel line and ALT + wire to starter -Disconnect all FI related wires that goes to the walls and throttle cable, revove air box, diconnect plug to ALT regulator and the small black wire, same for booster brake line.

-Put jack under engine, center this one, remove all 4 bolts from carier, lower engine until the drive axles are parallel to the ground, remove a 4 nuts engine to trany. Back up engine until it clear the main trany shaft, lower engine.

I'll do a video this weekend for those poor left alone Air cool vanagon owner.
