The propane jockey should have checked a little better to make sure all was tight and secure. The valve needs to be cleaned and lubed so it can be tightened with fingers, not pliers.

Glad the problem is solved without incident.

Propane jockey hadn't fully closed the auto-stop's bleeder valve when she filled it the last time. A touch with a pair of pliers, and the propane smell is gone.

I could blame her, she is supposed to know what she's doing, but this is an old valve and I have chosen to drive about in an old vehicle. What does Bob Hoover say? "You're the mechanic in charge."
