Hi David,

BITE YOUR TONGUE!! Baywindows own second place, by virtue of preceding the vanagon design. If it hadn't been for the baywindow, you snooty vanagonauts wouldn't enjoy crash-proof bumpers, disk brakes, hydraulic valves or sliding doors as a standard feature. The standard vanagon camper interior was also seen in 1976-79 baywindows.

Didn't you ever hear the saying "Respect your elders."? That also applies in this situation. I am sorry if you're not content in third place, but that doesn't mean I'm going to let you get uppity. ;-P

Personally, If I see a VW with a pop-top, I wave. I also wave at vanagons, even if they don't have a pop-top. I don't usually wave at Eurovans without a pop-top; those people wouldn't understand anyway.

Happy Trails,
