My Haynes manual for my Volvo gave me all I need to rebuild my B28F engine for my Bertone Coupe'. But it did not cover California specific emission stuff. I had a hard time to reassemble the emission system back together. It was good enough for all the work on brakes, cooling, ignition, and even for rebuilding the engine.
