I have a near-complete set of parts needed to install an I4
engine into your Vanagon.

Kit is now $990, and includes Bosch re-mfg diesel starter
and 1.8l CIS engine in a rolling '87 Jetta chassis!

(Carry everything home inside it, and then sell-off the
wheels, glass, seats & misc. and the engine may be free!)

Complete Diesel trans (you need the bellhousing, input
shaft & mount) or use entire transmission
Intake manifold
Exhaust manifold
Exhaust pipe (you don't need this if you get custom exhaust
installed)
Flywheel
Oil pan
Oil pickup
Oil filler pipe
Both engine mounting bars
All rubber mounts
Diesel filter module
One special coolant hose
(Missing only cover for air box & largest coolant hose).

Asking $700 w/o car or starter - add $50 for starter.

I have two extra conversion parts: another intake
manifold and another exhaust manifold.
