I read something about euro later vanagons still having single round
headlights.
So that could/should be stock and normal,   probably.

Sharp eye on the bone dry coolant bottle !

I know nothing about DoKas, but I'm wondering if a 1991 model which was
never been imported into the U.S. should have round headlights and a
speedo marked in MPH.  The bone-dry expansion tank looked great, too.

Out of curiousity, where were Dokas built?  If they're Syncros they'd be
Puch, in Austria?

Funny thing, that VIN is for a 1990 Vanagon built in Hannover.  Hmmm.....
