I thought I was pretty clever, as a newbie camper, that during a rainy time I parked close to the fire, and put up my Westie's tarp/awning to cover fire. You know; have my fire and stay dry. I knew full well some smoke would get in the van but......

...... it smelled really smokey after that.

The good news is that, simply with airing it out over time, the smell has decreased by at least 75%

You may find that in combination with chemical/other efforts, that time will help.

Neil.
