Much of the interior of our 83 westy (the ceiling, the insides of cabinets, the sliding door panel, etc) is covered in a ivory colored textured plastic-y paper. Not sure of the technical term. Anyways, this is peeling in a few places (inside some cabinets in particular). I had two questions: is it possible to obtain new rolls of this paper? And regardless, what is the best adhesive to use to stick it back into place?

Forget about trying to re-glue it or getting new covering. Waste of time and energy ! Take a heat gun and remove all the old covering by pulling it off, do not scrape it off. Go to your nearest house paint store that has a paint scanner for making up paint. Have them mix you a quart of latex paint of the colour of your interior. Use small brushes for the corners and a roller to apply to the surfaces from which you removed the covering. It will look just like the original due to the glue that's left on the surface having the texture of the old covering. I have done this to many of my customers campers. All were more than satisfied with the results. You will be surprised with how it looks ! I think if you check the archives this is the second time I write this story !
