I have three complete units from low mileage Carats available if anyone needs one. I bought the vans to use the interiors in Syncro conversion vans. One trans in palleted and in my shop the other two are still in running vans available for test drive or video. They are located in UpState NY.

trans. diff. linkage half shafts

The torque conveters are air cooled, water cooled Vanagons have water cooling added to the tranny. The overall gearing is that high gear and the ring-pinion give the same as the typical vanagon 4 speed. 3,800 rpm ~ 68 mph on 185/80-14 tires.

The torque converters have different stall speeds over the years.

Taken care of they are very rugged units.
