I've owned my 84 westy for 20 years, and have run Koni, Boge and now have the Bilstein HD. The Bilsteins by far is the best I have had, and provides the most control in cross winds and best handling. I of course have the proper tires, also new.

From the reports I've seen, Koni is much easier to deal with than Bilstein with regard to the lifetime warranty.
