I know for a fact that vermin can leave a smell in a vehicle.

Years ago, I left bags of garbage piled up against an old Volvo I had lying around in my garage. (f'n garbage strike... like we're having now!) Clever me, putting bags of garbage out of dog/cats/bears way. Not so clever leaving window slightly open. My point.....

I think it was rats. May have been mice. They climbed up the bags of garbage and had their own Shan-Gri-La to live in. Food AND shelter. Either rats or mice could smell things up. A male cat will really stink things up too when they spray.

See any droppings?

Nil Odor might help but....

If vermin have gotten in, be careful.

--- Mice are much smaller than rats, but they can still do a lot of damage. They destroy food, books, furniture and even appliances with their gnawing, urine and droppings. Worse, mice in the home have been linked to a number of human diseases, including asthma. Because of their small size, they can fit through crevices as small as 1/4 inch wide, making them hard to control. ---

Not to freak ya out --- :)
