Hi al, likewise. It's going fine. Super fine. Buried in rewarding fun engine conversion projects. Subaru and turbo diesel. Haven't done an SVX for a while though.

Anybody wanna buy an 82 Diesel Westy with 97 Subaru 2.2 engine in it ? 'tis for sale. ( I'll make it 1.9TD if you'd like )

same for an 85 hi top Adventure wagon - for sale......tossing the 1.9 waterpuker engine for sure of course....I've got a 2.7 Subaru XT-6 six cylinder engine and fuel system for it ( this engine is a 6 version of the won't-die Subaru SOHC 1.8 .... a poor man's SVX ) or it can be 2.1 waterboxer, or 1.9TD, or any engine you'd like me to put in it that you supply ( well, up to a point anyway ) .

both vans are great looking, good paint, no dents ( haven't seen the 85 AW yet actually , it's hopefully on it's way here , southern Oregon ) ..the 82 diesel westy is a really nice light mist green metallic paint. Very pleasant looking westy.

Anyway....have fun you rascal ! < I just made it public....want people to know what I have for sale, what I do etc. ) and how are you doing ? pmail is fine. Scott www.turbovans.com

Don,

Is this an Whoregon policy only? State stuff or is it the Feds agin? There was a NF fee system being tried out some years (3) ago wonder if it's the same thing. I'll check. I noticed that my parking was free with my "geezer pass" and my campsite fees were half off. Only 10bux for the pass with proper credentials (62 years on the clock) and it's lifetime deal.

Do YOU qualify? Go gitchaself one! Best ten bux you'll spend in the next fifty years or so. Have em put it in your coffin or pyre when you depart.

The 'geezer pass' is the old Golden Age passport. Now extinct. However I have one squirreled away and use it often. For twenty years I bought Golden Eagle passes every year, thought the advantages far outweighed the original $20 cost when it brought FREE not half-off camping. No 'parking' fees or 'day use fees' for ordinary places then. Sadly all gone by. Now we support mumblers with tea towels who take August off for $10B a month while the west is on fire and USFS (branch of department of Agriculture) goes beggin' for qualified personnel and capital equipment like fire trucks, slurry bombers, caterpillars, water trucks, chain saws, helicopters...Dude! Where's my Country?
