Dang! Those little connectors are expensive! How neccessary is that special too to take out the metal crimps? Does it make it a lot easier? Isn't it just a small tab that you need to push down? We have a real nice electronics store here that has all those metal crimp connectors, but I've never found anyone that has the plastic ends. Are there standard sizes for those or what? My main concern are the wires leading to the Hall Sensor. Two of them are cracked and I have them taped up.

Definitely like those Posi-Lock connectors mentioned in that other thread, and although that not really what I'm looking for, I'll definitely keep them in mind.

What about replacing the entire wiring loom? Anybody stock or make those? I've seen them for the air cooled vans. I imagine all my wiring is becoming brittle...or maybe I'm just paranoid.
