Subject: High Idle Solved!
Content-Type: text/html; format=flowed

<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV class=RTE>So I've been pulling my hair out for a few months trying to figure out why my van was idling high in park and neutral.&nbsp; My immediate first inclination was to replace my ISV - not it.&nbsp; Checked the ISCU - not it.&nbsp; Cleaned the throttle, adjusted it,&nbsp;and checked the switch 3 times - not it.&nbsp; Had an exhaust leak - oh well that must have been it right? Wrong!&nbsp; O2 sensor fine.&nbsp; Finally I noticed that my gas pedal was starting to stick a little bit - progressively got worse.&nbsp; When I brought my van into my mechanic to fix the exhaust leak he suggested that I replace my throttle cable.&nbsp; Since summer is my crazy busy season, I just had him do it for me, and viola!&nbsp; No more high idle.&nbsp; And boy does it feel different - the gas pedal actually has pressure and fluidity.&nbsp; Just wanted to pass this on in case anyone else was in a similar situation.</DIV> <DIV class=RTE>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV class=RTE>Peace,</DIV> <DIV class=RTE>MJ </DIV> <DIV class=RTE>'87 Westy GL</DIV></div><br clear=all><hr> <a href="http://g.msn.com/8HMBENUS/2755??PS=47575" target="_top">More photos, more messages, more storage—get 2GB with Windows Live Hotmail.</a> </html>
