My apologies, I did not mention that this is not a Westie, but an AW with an isolator, so I don't have the relay beneath the seat. I did remove the red/blk wire which comes from the ignition switch, while the engine was running, from the starter solenoid, put a meter on it, revved engine and got 13V. This effectively removed the Cold Start Relay from the picture, as I see it........?? Or, is the Westie relay approach, as Mark suggests, applicable? If so, why is it doing this without the Cold Start Relay in the loop? Thanks! Hope to not cook another starter..............Miguel |
