I was in the military for 22 years, and you would not believe the nasty
coffee I drank and enjoyed! I know you former military types know what I am
talking about. I only switched to green tea maybe 7 years ago? Now the
taste of coffee makes me gag. Guess it is all in what you get used to.
I do however have a finicky coffee-drinking friend. They turn their nose up
at Starbucks! Generally they drink BJ's coffee http://www.bjscoffee.com/
For Christmas I bought them a sampler of coffee from
http://www.alterracoffee.com/store/ I got kudos on that one! Find a good
coffee roaster and you will have good coffee.
Vanagon Content: The fridge in my Lola is a Norcold, AC/DC model. It
operates off the camping battery, not the starting battery. When the enigne
is running, the alternator charges both batteries. When I plug into power,
the fridge switches to AC automatically. If I know I am going to be camping
at a place without power, I use sealed fake ice. I have also used regular
ice in a container to contain the water as the ice melts. Lola also has a
separate ice box with a drain; if I need to go extended periods of time
without power I'll use that instead of the fridge and use the fridge to
store other things. No propane worries for me.

But Ellen, if you're a long time tea drinker, how would you know what
real coffee is?
(sorry. Couldn't resist! --- ;^)
Yes I know there's better options. Tea is one of them. Especially
green tea as far as trying to be healthy is concerned.
Yah I need to get one of them cone things. Just another on a long list
of little things to get. Right now, it's LP fiddling time!
