There have been faint rumblings regarding a get-together of the Vancouver Area Vanagon Listees. You know who you are.

I'm thinking we should be talking about whether we should meet at the beach for a picnic (yup, which beach?) or do a campout (ditto) and when we might all be able to arrange to do it.

Last time in White Rock we got to ogle Harold Kiesewetter's super clean TDI install (and be left behind in a cloud of burnt diesel) and admire Geordie's clean and cheap '82 Diesel. It'd be nice to see Rob Becida's 2.2 Subaru and Bill McLachlan's I-4 conversion too, and whatever Paul Guzyk's driving these days.

I'll volunteer to be the target, er, co-ordinator and communications hub.

Talk to me fellas, Jake
