Subject: Great Day Trip

Hello All: This weekend we drove up highway 88 over the carson pass to Grover Hot Springs- A Cal. State park, in the smallest, and highest county in Cal.just outside of Markleeville in the Eastern Sierra. This is a great place to camp if you can get a site. The Hot springs are a real treat.

Leaveing Markleeville we drove down to 395 and into Carson City back up 50 to Spooner Lake so we could hike around the lake. Lake is about 8,000 ft. but The grades are forgiveing. Past Tahoe and up over Echo summit and down back home to the Valley. So one 8,575 ft. pass, one 7,300 ft pass and our 84 Westy at 236,175 miles just kept on truckin. It feels like it just wants to be on the road. Got around 24 mpg. Drove 550 miles

Sunday I drove over to see Ben T and pick up those Recaro Seats. Thanks Ben.

Keep it between the fence posts
