Just setup another gmail address, subscribe to the list, then issue the commands to the archive to send you the rest of the articles from the previous years. Once you have this going, load google desktop on your PeeCee or Mac, then tell it to index that gmail account as well. IN about 2-3 days, you'll have a fully searchable archive. The problem is, there is a *TON* of info in said archive. You get *TOO* many hits.. that's why John Meeks BTDT (been there, done that) site is nice. Things are categorized and all in their proper place kind of arranged like the Bentley manual? Wikipedia is not the place for this.. Its the filtering and indexing of the 'quality' posts (wheat from the chaff) that is the difficult and thankless part. |
