If you plan on doing the propane tank restoration job yourself, you can clean it up with a wire brush or other type of abrasive wheel on a drill to get most area cleaned up. You can then use a Dremell tool for the tight spots. Then use POR 15, following all the direction, to refinish it. I did this to mine in 2005 and it still looks new.
