Hi Mike & All, I just installed one myself. I just cut the 3" section out and held a bucket underneath. Found that not very much coolant came out. Regardless, put a piece of plastic topped with an old towel underneath to keep the coolant off of your carpet. But... Man did it make a difference on my 3000 mile trip through the UT, ID, Eastern OR. Desert!!
