It seems that my intermittent no power at fuel pump when turning ignition switch on problem was caused by a computer problem. After exchanging ECUs, the fuel pump now gets power every time upon turning the key to "on". Thanks so much to Richard Jones of Boulder who provided an ECU with Digitool for diagnosing the problem. I also appreciate the offers of assistance from many folks on this list. I'll write more about this for the archives, as there were a variety of opinions about this a couple of weeks ago. Meanwhile, I'm looking for a good used ECU for my '87. I know that some decent vendors offer rebuilt ECUs, but I've seen them regularly available for considerably less in the used market. Does anyone have a working used ECU with which they are willing to part? Thanks, David ____________________________________________________________________________________ Moody friends.
