Craig, how high did your unloaded 85 Westy ride center of wheel to lower edge of wheel arch? I heard the 85 bus springs are the tallest. Are the 86 and younger Westies using that spring or a shorter one? I am not going to a full Westy. I am afraid the front drive components will be very expensive in the near future. Also the Syncro doesn't really have much more ground clearance than a 2wd, because the transmission and engine sits deeper to clear the rear cross member for the driveshaft. I'm trying to get some air under my Westy and one thing I needed to sacrifice was the front wheel drive (sadly, would have been nice for the extra traction) Have fun, Reinhard 83 "Half-Syncro" Westy, Moose
