Chris, A few things... did you tell them what they go for? I find the guys at Malahat good to deal with and if they are out of line on the prices they usually try to compete. If you think they are expensive, call Tom Cat in Victoria... If you are not happy with the pricing DON'T BUY Is it a rip off? I don't think so. If the seller and the buyer feel everything is good and square then it is a fair deal. It's not like they did anything bad to you other than quote a high price, they didn't promise you one thing and gave you another or some other "bad deal". I don't see a rip off here, only a high price that you didn't want to pay.
