yeah, the let you strip parts. I go into the office and ask
permission to look around, tell them what i am after etc. just being
polite :)

then I go back to office, tell them what I found and ask about price,
haggle, then I go and remove the part. If its a gnarly removal job,
one of the yard guys help.

there is a repair shop right before the malahat scrap yard ...
i think it might be called hog heaven and he does vw stuff...
he once did some very huge repairs for me all reasonable cause i
broke down on my way down the high way ...
limped in with a jurry rig and he did a fine job of repairing ..
as i say reasonable too ...
to the blowin off steam guy ...
i feel for ya man ...

try the partsplace in flint michigan ...
they have a catolog o parts ...
