Subject: Huge THANKS!!! (Dometic cools on LP)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Hi all.

Subject says it all but here it is:

"THANKS!"

to all the list members who read through my trials and whinings, of trying to get my Dometic to cool down on LP.

Currently on LP at "Max", in just over 2 hours, I have 30F. Ambient 71.2F.

I will publish a page of notes on my web site soon.

Problem:

It would light on LP, but since one can't see the size of flame, I couldn't tell if the flame is big enough. Basically I wasn't getting enough heat.

Solution:

cleaned jet by soaking it in a 50/50 water/acid solution (only a FEW minutes) then pushing solution through a few times. Rinsed and checked by seeing if I could blow a steady, straight stream of water through.

Hopefully no more debris will get in there, but at least I know how to clean it!

Many thanks again for ALL the help.

(this one really had me stumped!)

Neil.
