Howdy, Tom. Yep, second valve from the top all the way to the left is meant to turn off hot water to the heater core. Can't tell for sure if it does what it is supposed to do, fully, but I do know that my toes get baked on a hot day. The ventilation box thing has funky seals and the air can't be shut off all the way, either, so that may be part of my trouble, too. However, removing the dash is the way to get to that thing. Removing the dash is also, I am told, a miserable job.
