Bryan, I always use a pair of surgical pliers with pieces of vacuum hose on the jaws for fuel lines. If you don't have surgical pliers, you can use any sort of locking pliers, just make sure to protect the fuel hose from the metal jaws. Also, do the same on the engine side of the fuel pump, so you don't get any gas from that end. Good luck, Sudhir
