I live in Princeton right now, just a few miles south of this guy.

I forget his name, but he definitely seems like a nice and honest guy.  I've never had him do any work on my van, per se, but once or twice when I needed an extra set of hands or needed something torched or whatever, I went down there and gave him some very reasonable amounts of money to lend a hand.

He does have a bunch of vans.  He also recently acquired one of those super-hip vanagon pickup trucks, and his is in great shape.  It'd be worth stopping by and saying hi to him just to get to see it.

When I was in the market for a Westy a few weeks back, I remember he mentioned to me that he knew someone selling a later model for $7000 or so.  I remember it sounded like a super deal, just more than I could afford.  There's another reason to stop by.

If I was up against some really big job that I just thought was beyond me and had some money to pay someone else to do it and my van was nevertheless driveable, to be honest I would likely drive down to Ken at Vanagain, but that's because of great experiences I've had there rather than anything negative about this place.  Overall, I've gotten the impression that this guy knows his stuff, has a value-oriented attitude about fixing the vans, and is very honest.

For what it's worth, I know he has a phone number (it's painted on his shop, I think the area code there is 732), but I never called, just stopped in between 9am and 3pm or so (he's in on Saturday's too, often).
