I am in the process of fitting out and installing a new engine in my AC Westy. Fortunately I didn't have to do the engine rebuild myself (thanks Boston Bob) but I am confident that it would have taken me more than 28 hours to do the full job. After about to 10 hours I haven't even gotten to the assembly stage. I have compliled lists of parts and ordered them, cleaned and painted, etc. If you are going to get it right it takes a lot of time on a crusty old AC engine. With my work on computers I often work 28 hrs. in two days and 28 hours in three day almost always happens and it sounds like Ben works late like I do. It is interesting that you would question the time that Ben quoted. Although I only know him through his posts to this list and his website, I have a lot of confidence in his integrity.
