I am in Bend, Oregon. It's a 1984 1.9... Engine is out of the van now. At least that was easy. Looking in there I'll definitley have to get the liner and piston out to even attempt an extraction. Luckily, my landlord is a machinist and guess where his shop is? Next door. I may pay him to get the two broken studs out. I could even give him a beer to help me carry it over there. He's got a Ghia in there, too. Any chance some air cooled studs an nuts would work? Feeling a bit better. Brendan
