> Would love to have the space to add in a sunroof, but that center AC > duct takes up too much space. There are these photos of my Vanagon, A/C with sunroof: http://t3-infos.de/images/Klima_gross_1.jpg http://t3-infos.de/images/Klima_gross_2.jpg It works, but the sunroof efficiency is not too good anymore :-) I have one photo with stock A/C and the stock big steel sunroof (in a VW magazine), but the ducting of the A/C ends just at the sunroof opening. They only used the rear part of the ducting. My scanner wonīt scan this photo, itīs too dark in the ceiling area...
>> funny you should mention that. in germany, they sold a version with >> sunroof AND air conditioning ... had the ducts along the sides of the >> ceiling. i thought i had some pictures of it, but can't find them >> now. :( anyway, the vents were along the sides above the windows. >> I donīt believe that for a minute. I heard this rumor, too, but no one ever saw this. Actually, maybe I spread this rumor, because a friend of mine told me this a few years ago. Raimund |
