Some vehicles are given names, some earn them and some
never get them. We've had our camper for a year now
and the PO, who called it Max, asks me if the van has
a new name or gender.
I had always thought I'd name it after a local NPR
radio hostess, a German lady given to odd and
eccentric pronouncements and mannerisms. Hasn't
happened yet, nor has another occurred to us or
suggested itself. Guess we'll see what happens.
In the same way, the plan for a vanity plate has not
been realized because of the not-quite-right aspect,
or perfect-plate-but-wrong-vehicle. You just know
when it's right. Kinda like love, I reckon.
