Small world! My fiancee just spotted that story on CNN, separately. We're booking their 88 Westy for a week on our honeymoon in Hawaii later this year. We have a few days left intentionally hotel-less, so a Westy is perfect. Good times.

Seemed like nice people on the phone, and the rates are totally reasonable, as well. $100/day sounds like a lot, but that's what Hertz is charging for a Ford Fusion (and similar crap) in the major metros I travel through for work.

Any chance the proprietors are here on the listserv?
