Warren, I too have thought about this. The one problem is the upper control arm bolt. When it comes time to change the upper control arm bushings that long bolt needs that space to come out. So, what I though was to provide holes in the dropped section of the battery box to allow this. Then all that would need to be done would be to remove the battery and then remove that bolt. Doesn't seem all that much of a problem. AND, if some battery company does not soon offer a 1000 amp/h battery that fits in that hole I just may try this modification.
