Cheap. It's as simple as that. Or at least for me. Back when I first got my van I needed a rebuilt engine. It was either GEX or some other really expensive rebuild. I was in college. Easy choice. That engine lasted me no more than the warranted miles before it was shot. Van sat in my garage for years before I had the $$ to buy a Subaru engine to replace it.

This confuses me. I don't doubt what people are reporting about Gex, but don't you have to make a quality product, at least some of the time, in order to stay in business? Who do you suppose is buying their stuff, and paying their bills, when their reputation is SO bad?

Seems odd that it can still be a business, as people have been ripping on them, for a really long time.
