Well, as of my last drive in the van (just now) my fan which earlier silently blew fuses is now a very load, monster of a fan that has some serious issues. So no rewiring for me after all. Oh well. I guess I'll have to be tackling the dreaded dash job at some point.

How long should this job take me? And are all replacement fans the same?
