I agree with Reinhard's comments. I drive a 7 pass GL, not a Westy, but had the 195 Hankooks installed a year and a half ago (about same time as Subie 2.2, Koni shocks and OEM alloys) - I have had no problems with them, normal driving for us is potholed Chicago city streets, also make several highway trips a year: ride is firm and predictable, but not harsh or noisy at 65 - 70 mph; I might hit 80 for as long as it takes to pass someone once in a while. With gas prices approaching $4/gal in the Chicago area, and Midwestern states using traffic tickets as a major tax collection method, I can't afford to drive faster than that any more, so can't comment on performance at higher speeds!
