it doesn't rain very often in colorado, but when it does my feet get wet. when i pull the edge of the windshield rubber up from the lower driver's outside corner, there is a 1/8" gap between the sheet metal and the the rubber it should be butted against. the gaskets look fine, uncracked and not flakey, but they are cleary shrunken. is there any "rubber rejuvination" product out there that i should try, or should i immediately buy new seals? i'm pretty sure rust is not the issue.

i suspect that water pouring behind my dash is not a good thing, even when i only drive in the rain twice a year.
