I'm with Eric on this, though, especially if they are not actual forged Fuchs rims- you've already found out that they are unsafe.

If they are designed as a cheap copy of a wheel for a 2500 lb sports car, use on a 5000 lb vanagon could be a problem.

The Wheel Enhancement folks are really very helpful. they would probably talk you through idenfifying if the rims are real for certain. Just don't describe what they are on - tell them it on a 1989 Porsche Carrera!
