I just made a post on this as part of the power window/mirror thread. It's really quite simple. Grab the outer edge of the window crank -- the one away from the knob. You can then peel this back to reveal the single screw that holds the crank in place. Here's a pic of how it works. This one is an earlier type of crank handle but the principle is the same.
