Yes.

We had a head gasket let loose about 300 miles from home. AAA picked up the first 100 miles, the rest was on my nickel. Took 2 tow trucks and a hand-off at the state line but they set it all up once I told them where I was and where I wanted it towed to. They even negotiated a discounted rate on the portion that I had to pay for.

The trip home was about as quick as I could have driven it.
