As mentioned, Thule or Yakima make good rack systems. Look for the fake gutters at your local bike shop or outfitter -- I couldn't find them on the Yakima site. If all else fails, I think I have a pair out in the shed (found in the van AFTER I bought new ones). Used FAT washers to distribute the load and a little silicone sealent to keep water on the outside.
