Good point. In actual fact, I did rev up engine. That would only make sense.
Originally I was going to include the lifter portion in my "newbie"
suggestions, but I've never adjusted valves with hydrualic lifters
before so I posted it as a question. I wanted to make sure I had done
the right thing and that the info was good by getting confirmation
from others.
I've only adjusted valves with solid lifters. I adjusted one of the
valves on mine a while back, but finally got down to doing the
maintenance and did them all properly.
