Hi Jim, "Oven" seems to be an overstatement for this product. I don't know of any recipes which call for the oven to be set to 260F, but as the ad copy it's function is to warming things up while on the road. It draws 8 to 10 amps, which is 96 to 120 watts, and if left on for a couple hours could draw down a battery 16 to 20 ampere-hours. But for ten bucks it could be useful for heating up soup while on the road!
